Advertising use is permitted after purchasing a license. Individual terms and conditions of use apply.
Statutory provisions remain unaffected and fully valid, e.g., the statutory right to quotation.
Exception: Free license for non-commercial use for exclusively internal purposes by manufacturers
The manufacturer whose service, product and/or offer was tested is granted a free, non-exclusive and spatially limited to Germany, non-transferable and non-sublicensable license to use the relevant test reports, test seals and award logos as long as ALL of the following requirements are fully met:
All other provisions on this site remain fully valid or unaffected. If all of the above conditions are met, no explicit written consent is required; this grants a so-called “free license.” Use beyond these restrictions is not covered by the “free license.” A “free license” is recognizable by the “-F” ending in the license ID.
This allows, for example, the use of test reports and seals for internal communication on the intranet, presentations or newsletters to inform employees that a certain award has been given.
