Our background

In 2022, Benjamin Nitzinger founded Botiguard GmbH. In 2023, we expanded and became BaySec – Bayerische Gesellschaft für Cybersicherheit mbH (Bavarian Society for Cybersecurity). We operate throughout Europe. Since 2025, we have been operating under the European brand EUSEC®.

We are a "Public Money = Public Code" company. This means that if a public authority commissions us, we subsequently make the results available to all other German authorities free of charge as a Public Code License v1. This makes cybersecurity affordable yet tailored to the needs of the government. This has been the case with the "Botiguard" project and the "Watzmann Game." We see the

fact that EUSEC/BaySec is still a young company not as a weakness, but as a strength. Many established providers charge high prices for their name and the trust they have built up over many years. It is often overlooked that there is another way: high-quality, fair advice, and economically sound solutions.
As a young company, we must convince through genuine performance. Therefore, we focus on professional expertise, transparent and fair advice, and solutions that are not only modern but also pragmatic and sensible.

VOLUNTEER WORK AND SOCIAL CONTRIBUTION:

For many years, I volunteered with a local branch of the German Child Protection Association (DKSB). There, I supported children from difficult family and social circumstances, including through supervised visitation, for example, in cases of drug use or abuse within the family.
I also volunteered as a tutor for elementary and middle school students. This included volunteer student coaching at a high school in the Berchtesgaden region.
Furthermore, I was involved for many years with an international children's aid organization. There, I conducted on-site inspections as well as internal audits for corruption prevention. The goal was to ensure that the welfare of children was protected and that aid funds actually reached those who needed them. In this context, I was able to uncover several abuses and follow up on individual cases.
